World's most expensive dessert

Since past many years, Golden Opulence, a $1,000 ice cream sundae is enjoying the sovereignty for being the priciest dessert offered by Serendipity 3 in New York. But now the owner of Serendipity 3 i.e. Stephen Bruce has charted another laurel to his name by entering the Guinness world record for the category of world’s most expensive dessert.

The dessert emporium have inked with New York-based jeweler Euphoria and designed an exotic “Frozen Haute Chocolate,” that is retailed at $25,000. This new dessert is the result of 28 cocoas collected from every corner of the world, which were infused with five grams of edible 23-karat gold. Above all, the presentable look of the dessert comes from the way it is being served in a goblet lined with edible gold.

With a topping of whipped cream, gold and a tinge of La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier, the dessert sells for $2,600 a pound. It is complemented with memento of an 18K gold bracelet whose worth of diamonds reside on the bottom of the goblet and a gold spoon encrusted with white and chocolate-colored diamonds. At such a descriptive note, the earlier discussed $1000 sundae cannot stand next to $25,000 sundae.
